While baccarat has always been one of the less accessible of the games in the casino, it has actually gained a fair bit of popularity, in large part due to the major success of online casinos like Llanbikefest. The game has moved away from private rooms behind velvet ropes, and into the living rooms of regular casino players, which has gone a long way to removing much of the mystique that has always surrounded it.
What may be the most surprising to those that have never been previously exposed to baccarat is that it is a fairly uncomplicated game to play, with actually only 3 bets available on any given hand; player, banker and tie.
The one thing that baccarat has in common with just about every other game is that players constantly try to find angles or strategies that will improve their odds of winning. Card counting is one technique that has always had a place at the tables, although it’s a method that is not necessarily embraced by the gambling industry. The feeling is that baccarat is a game that does not really benefit from card counting, and the proof of that may be in the fact that casinos will oftentimes provide players with scorecards to keep track of every bet, a method that is known as chasing.
If the casino really believed that counting would give the player an advantage over the house, you can bet that those scorecards would be gone in a minute.
Anyone who has had experience playing the game will tell you that the best way to play the odds in baccarat is to simply bet the banker each and every hand. It may seem like you are betting against yourself, but the fact is that you are simply making the smartest of the 3 bets available every time. Like any game that is unfamiliar to you, it’s smart to learn the bets, odds and terminology before jumping in.

The exciting storylines are perfect for the fast-paced casino world, and one of the latest comic book characters to get the slots treatment is Hellboy. For those who don’t know him from the comics, or from the 2 movies that he has appeared in, Hellboy is a cigar chomping, gun toting good guy straight from the bowels of hell. He fights all kinds of strange creatures that make it into our world, basically saving us from mayhem on a daily basis.
Here at Llanbikefest, Hellboy is a 5-reel, 20 payline slot with a rather devilish 10,000 coin jackpot. All of the other major characters, such as Prof. Trevor Bruttenholm, Johann Krause, Abe Sapien and Liz Sherman also appear, and there are some really cool little animations that really bring the game to life when you hit a winning combination.
There are some very cool additional features in the Hellboy game, and those start with the Wild symbol which triggers a 2x multiplier on a winning combo. Three or more scatter symbols unlock the Underworld Bonus round where you try to locate valuable relics before your surroundings collapse in on you.
There is also the super mode bonus round, which is randomly triggered and presents you with 10 free spins, with the highlight being that three Wild symbols are randomly placed and held during the spins. That little extra alone can really add up to some tremendous bonus payouts that Hellboy will walk away with in his giant fist. You don’t have to be a fan of the comics or movies to get a kick out of the Hellboy game, so be sure to give it a spin the next time you log in to Llanbikefest online casino.
]]>When I first started out playing at the casinos, I pretty much just stuck with the slot machines and stayed away from the tables. I had heard tales of strange etiquette rules that were required at different table games, and the thought of trying to learn all those, as well as the rules of all the different games just seemed like too much hard work and effort for me.
That all changed when I started playing at the Llanbikefest online casino, as I never had to worry about putting my elbows on the table and learning the games became risk free too, as I took the time to get to know them all by playing in free play mode, just so that I wouldn’t lose any money during my learning process.
What came out of it all was a love for table games that I would probably never have discovered were it not for the online casino. I was able to play with a confidence that I would never have had on a real casino floor, and in getting to know those games, I quickly understood why they draw such an excited crowd when they are being played.
Blackjack, poker and baccarat are real games of strategy that can get the blood pumping, but for real excitement, nothing can touch craps and roulette, at least in my humble opinion. There is something totally thrilling about the anticipation of waiting to see where that little white ball is finally going to stop, or what number combination the bones are going to roll.
To me, those are the most exciting games in the casino, and are the ones that get my heart racing, but I still try to split my time between the tables and the reels because all the games are great here at Llanbikefest, and it’s fun to get a little taste of them all.
]]>With so many online casinos now operating on the internet, it’s tough for the average player to decide where they should deposit their gambling dollars, and when I look at what’s available here at Llanbikefest, I have to wonder why anyone would ever consider playing anywhere else.
I can’t think of any other casino that can match that list of positives, and that’s why I’ll continue to get my casino kicks at Llanbikefest.
]]>One of my favourite things about playing at Llanbikefest is being able to try games that I would be intimidated by in the land based casinos. Roulette was always one of those games that I really wanted to play, but my lack of knowledge about how the game worked, and the seemingly vast number of bets, made it one that I always skipped.
Thanks to Llanbikefest, I was able to learn the ins and outs of the game by using the free play feature, which gave me the confidence to try it for real. I love roulette now, but have always wondered where the game originated, so decided to do a little research.
I assumed the game, given its name, meaning “little wheel” in French, originated in France, but the true origins are up for argument. Some say that it was invented in 17th century France by a mathematician named Blaise Pascal, while others claim that it was brought back to Europe by Dominican monks who discovered the game being played in China.
Whatever the case, by the late 18th century the game had become very popular, with Prince Charles of Monaco using it as a way to try and alleviate the financial problems of his region. The game as we know it today didn’t appear until 1842, with Francois and Louis Blanc devising the single “0” game. When roulette crossed the waters to the US, a “00” was added, and the two versions of the game still exist to this day.
Thankfully, you don’t have to cross the pond to play both versions as they can both be found here at Llanbikefest, so come give the wheel a spin.
]]>There are hundreds of great games to choose from here at Llanbikefest, and while everyone is familiar with the traditional slots and table games, there are a few more available that may not be so well known to everyone. Keno is one of those, and if you haven’t played before, you really don’t know what you are missing. The games come quickly, meaning that if you miss the start of a round, you won’t have to wait long for a new one to begin.
The rules are extremely straightforward, and it’s almost like a combination between bingo and the lottery. Players get to choose between 1 and 20 numbers from a card that has 80 numbers in rows of 10. 20 numbers are then drawn, one at a time, at random, with the goal being to cover as many of your chosen numbers as possible. You are then paid out based on how many of your numbers were landed on, and in some cases if none were chosen, but that only usually occurs if you have selected a lot of numbers.
The game is completely random, so adopting a strategy becomes virtually impossible, but if you decide that Keno is a game that you would like to play regularly, then there are a couple of things that you can do to make it a little more fun. The first thing to do is check and see what the odds are for all winning combinations, and pick the play that gives you the best chance of winning, combined with good odds. I’ve found that playing a 4-spot (you select 4 numbers) provides the best shot at a decent return.
You will win make your money back if 2, 3 or all of your numbers are hit, and can usually hit often enough so that you don’t ever get completely wiped out. I’d also suggest sticking to the same numbers every time, as that seems to have worked best for me, rather than trying to figure out which are hot and cold. Keno is a great way to pass some time when you are between games, so check it out next time you are logged in to Llanbikefest.
]]>Everyone who loves slots usually picks their favourite games based on the look, the bonuses and, of course, the size of the jackpot. There is another thing that can come into play when choosing a favourite game, and that is often the theme of the slot. Everything from sports, to season, to comic books have been used as a theme, and one of the most popular ones has proven to be movies.
That may explain why the Hitman slot machine has become so popular here at Llanbikefest. There is something very welcoming about seeing our favourite characters and symbols on the reels, and it helps that the game is as bad as the titular character.
Hitman is a 5-reel, 15-payline slot with a maximum jackpot of 4,000, with a 2nd jackpot of 2,000. Players of all bankrolls can get in on the fun here, with denominations ranging from a penny, all the way up to 25 cents. You can claim many more high priced bounties by playing the bonus games that will pop up every now and again, but first a look at the awesome graphics.
Agent 47 is, as you would expect, the WILD symbol, but there are a ton of other items that fans of the original video game will get a kick out of. There’s the Hitman logo, plus all of his favourite tools of the trade, like guns, knives and syringes, but another one to look out for is the mini computer.
That triggers the Contract Bonus Game which can lead to a bumper payout of 270,000 coins.
Hitman is a ton of fun, so my advice is to launch a sneak attack on your computer and try to assassinate that bumper jackpot, making sure that you don’t bite the bullet in the process.
]]>If you are someone who is on the go a lot, and perhaps have to travel out of town on work, or have access to many different computers, then the flash version of PP will be best for you. The flash version of the online casino can be accessed from any computer in the world, and by simply logging in to the PP website; you will have access to all the games available in that version. Be aware that there are fewer games than the full downloadable casino, but there are still more than enough to keep the average player very happy.
The downloadable casino is a much better choice for players that want access to all the games in the Llanbikefest arsenal, which also means more chances to win the big money jackpots. It’s a quick and easy download, and from the moment you click the mouse over that download option, you are only a couple of minutes away from full casino access.
Both versions are of superior quality to just about any online casino you care to name, and there really is no bad choice, because as soon as you decide to bet at Llanbikefest, the best decision has already been made.

Back in the mid-2000’s, the popularity of poker, and Texas Hold ‘Em in particular, was at an all-time high, and in the midst of that success, the European Poker Tour was born. The year was 2004, and the first EPT consisted of 7 separate tournaments, with Dutch player Rob Hollink winning the Grand Final and pocketing the 635,000 Euro prize. The second season of the tournament saw the same set-up, with a little jump in prize money, but by season 3, two additional tournaments had been added, and the prize for winning at the Grand Final table had jumped to 1.8 million Euros.
Seasons 4 and 5 saw the European Poker Tour continue to grow, and by the end of that 5th season, the number of tournaments had risen to 12, each in a different major European city, and the top prize topped out at 2.3 million. That was where the tour seemed to peak, and after that season, the prize pools dropped somewhat, and this season, which is number 8, has seen the number of tournaments drop back down to 8.
Although tour founder John Duthie had modelled the EPT after the wildly successful World Poker Tour, there were a few differences in the European version, most notably the cheaper buy-in (although that is now sitting around $10,000, the same as the WPT), as well as having 8 players at the final table, rather than 6.
Not all the drama during the EPT has taken place at the tables, and last year at an even in Berlin, masked robbers got away with 242,000 Euros, an event that was seen by many who had tuned into the live webcast of the tournament. Fortunately, the bandits were captured a few days later.
As it stands right now, the United Kingdom has 13 individual winners, with US players nipping at their heels with 12 overall wins, and with 4 tournaments still to play this season and it will be interesting to see if the Brits can maintain that lead. Of course, we can still maintain our poker domination by playing the tables here at our own version of Llanbikefest.
]]>When it comes time to load up my account at Llanbikefest, I know that I can easily do so, as my currency is one of the most globally accepted on the internet, but it also gets me thinking about what players from other countries have to go through in order to deposit and withdraw funds.
I decided to do a little investigating in order to see how many different currencies were accepted here at Llanbikefest, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. Of course, all the currencies that you’d expect to find (Australian, US and Canadian dollars) are there, but there were a ton of others that I really had to struggle to figure out, and it actually became a real fun challenge to take the three lettered acronyms and try to match the currency. For example DKK is Danish Krone , and CHF is Swiss Franc, which should give you all a perfect example of just how many banking options there are.
There are the standard banking and credit card options that cover the most common of currencies, but for those who may have a hard time with the currency of their homeland, they should really take a look at web wallets. Not only do they offer perhaps the most secure banking option, but many of them allow currencies that aren’t so readily available with the traditional deposit methods.
The best way to find out which deposit option is best for you, just simply head on over to the banking page on the Llanbikefest website, and take a look at all the options available. Like me, you’ll probably be stunned at how many possibilities there are, and you will quickly see just how global the Llanbikefest casino really is.
