Famous land-based casinos

I love logging into my Llanbikefest account because there is a familiarity that I have gained from playing there for so long, and navigating the different games and features has become second nature to me. It’s familiarity of a different kind that makes certain land based casinos so famous. Many of them have become recognizable simply by the number of times that they show up in the movies and TV.

There is the stunning Casino de Monte Carlo which looks more like a royal palace than a building that houses video slots, but it has become the premiere destination for the rich and famous for over 150 years.

One look at the Venetian Macao and you might believe you are actually in Nevada, but this baby, modelled after the Vegas version, has a 550,000 square foot casino floor which is considered to be the largest in the world. The ultra-modern looking Jupiter’s Hotel and Casino in Queensland, Australia may look like spaceship from another galaxy has dropped in to the land Down Under, but the golden sandy beaches and Pacific Ocean spray quickly snap you back to earth.

Sun and sand also make the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas seems so appealing, but it is also home to a magnificent casino, and the entire building may very well be one of the most recognizable structures in the world.

What would a best casinos list be without one from Las Vegas? The MGM Grand has a casino that boasts four different gaming areas spread across a massive 170,000 square foot area, but it’s the dark green colour and giant lion statue out front that make her so recognizable.

My surroundings at home may not match that of the casinos listed above, but I am happy to know that I can play all the same games that are available in those magnificent building by simply accessing my Llanbikefest account.
